A friend of mine, @RazorTelevision made me think about how much I use my tech, what I carry, and why I have it. I love using it and sharing stuff, and the feeling I get when the responses come back to me.

Now I have really started to use it in a more positive way, to share information and stories, I feel more emboldened to try out more things...

I've recently been asked what kit I carry with me on a day to day basis, to blog and carry on with my social media. So what better way to show them than with a video. So now if anyone asks again, I can astound them with this. My tech bag is open...

I was remembering the other day when to send broadcast material to let's say, South Africa, meant an edit suite in a large room and maybe an expensive satellite contraption to send the finished piece. Now all I need is my mac and FTP. And I still moan that it takes me 1 1/2 hours to send it. Started filming at 11am Jo'burg had the finished piece by 1645pm. Bloody amazing tech sat right on my office desk.
