My last post saw me going live attached to my satellite truck from a remote location. This time, I am cabled right into the news studio for a live with the BBC weather girl and for the final 5 minutes of the BBC South Today news, with the main presenter. Here is a quick tour from behind the scenes as I get the kit ready...

Someone on Twitter recently asked me to show more broadcasting kit, and behind the scenes sort of things. So, just for you, here is a short video of me about to go live for BBC News, about a body being found in woodland. Not a nice story, but the news covers all things... Hope you enjoy the video.

I remember watching a programme called Space 1999 when I was a kid, living on the moon, spaceships, and ladies in Lycra space suits. Here we are in 2011, and I'm filming for BBC Breakfast News at the launch of the UK Space Agency, at Didcot, Oxfordshire. Hardly the moon and skintight leggings but hey... We got donuts, tea and sticky buns.
